The Quality Engineering Intern will assist in the coordination and completion of testing and projects related to quality control and continuous improvement. Further, the he or she is responsible for support of implementing the applicable quality systems required for the business to be registered to appropriate Quality Standards.
Support risk evaluation, risk mitigation and process monitoring activities utilizing Data Analysis, Process monitoring, Process control, and Continuous Process Improvement.
Conduct quality planning activities
Quality control plan development and execution, conducting measurement system analysis, conducting process capability studies, implementing statistical process control (SPC), development and maintenance of process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), implementation of mistake proofing.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
Determine quality improvement parameters
Maintain statistical process controls
Process capability analysis
Non-Conformance Corrective action using Root Cause Analysis

Schedule: Part-time until school end, full-time during summer

Pay: This is a paid internship

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and problem solving techniques
Moderate to advanced knowledge with computers and database management
