Job Summary: Teach courses in manufacturing to include but not limited to: Simulation, Ergonomics, Product Manufacturing, Machining Processes, Robotics, Controls, and Advanced Robotics courses as well as other courses fitting the needs of the department.
Principal Responsibilities: Assist in advising manufacturing technology majors, SME and/or ATMAE student chapters, pursue scholarly and professional activities within and outside the university. Assist in advising manufacturing technology majors, assist students engaged in competitions at various conferences, and office responsibilities assigned.
Required Skills: Position requires a high level of technical expertise and teaching and/or industrial experience manufacturing management applications and processes, industry simulations and machine processes. Demonstrated teaching excellence in the classroom. Ability to work with student groups for regional and national competitions and make industrial connections/partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree in engineering technologies, manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, technology education, or related field. Position requires high level of technical expertise, with teaching and/or industrial experience involving robotics, manufacturing processes, ergonomics, manufacturing simulation. ABD will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Industrial experience in manufacturing technology or engineering field, teaching experience, ability to start Spring semester 2019.
