Our company is experiencing unprecedented growth, partially due to the success of the Food & Beverage and Architecture & Building Engineering groups. We are seeking a practice/discipline leader to lead our construction and project management practices. Responsibilities include defining and improving the project management and construction management practices; mentoring and providing technical guidance for less experienced staff; providing technical expertise and/or leadership on specific projects; performing and/or coordinating quality reviews for projects; supporting departmental marketing initiatives as appropriate; monitoring industry trends; maintaining knowledge of current project management requirements and regulations. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, architecture or related technical degree AND at least ten years (15+ preferred) of relevant experience for food and/or commercial projects. If no degree, must have at least fourteen years of relevant experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following: professional licensure or certification (PE, PMI, PMP); mentoring others and providing technical guidance; applying project management standards and practices; working across disciplines; conducting quality assessment/quality control assessment of projects; setting goals for a department, business unit and company.
