We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a positive, collaborative work style for our Structural Engineering Studio in our Newport Beach, CA office. Proven experience should include most of the following project types: DSA experience with K-12 education and college/university projects, retail, office, and renovation. Little is made up of Architects, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists. We have offices in Newport Beach CA, Charlotte NC, Durham NC, Orlando FL, Washington DC and Beijing China. This position provides a unique leadership opportunity, partnering with the Office President and Engineering Leaders to build a strong structural engineering team in the office. Position responsibilities: - Leading strong client relationships;
- Overseeing and performing project work in all phases;
- Providing drawing coordination and technical oversight for project activities with clients, staff, and consultants;
- Performing site audits prior to design for renovations;
- Performing site observations during construction, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals and other related construction administration tasks;
- Mentoring staff;
- Participating in project pursuits and/or interviews.
