TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Applications are invited for tenure-track/tenured faculty positions in Operations Management (OM) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB), Singapore Management University (SMU). Applicants must have (or be near completion of) a Ph.D. in OM or a closely related discipline. Appointments at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) will be considered. Senior applicants should have an outstanding publication record in top-level operations journals. Junior applicants are expected to have a proven track record in research and evidence of developing research maturity.
Today, LKCSB is a dynamic and culturally diverse business school with about 3000 students and over 120 full-time faculty members, locating in the heart of downtown Singapore. The school offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (including MBA, MSc, EMBA, Ph.D.), as well as executive education. The school is ranked 2nd in Asia and 33rd worldwide according to the latest UT Dallas Top 100 Business School Research Rankings. The school’s Executive MBA programme is ranked 22nd globally in the Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2018.
The OM group in LKCSB has 19 faculty members with diverse research expertise. The group has recently launched Operations Analytics Track (OAT) and Maritime Business and Operations Track (MBOT) for its undergraduate programme and is looking to strengthen its presence in the research and education landscape for sustainable operations, data analytics, digital transformation, and Asian context. Both analytical and empirical research orientations are welcomed.
