About Group W
Group W began in 2004 with 28 employee-investors who shared a passion for doing things right. We’ve
been employee-owned ever since, and we are now a mature, 100% ESOP. Our organization values truth,
passion, intellect, and skill. Our creative and inspired critical thinkers working worldwide have the insight
on how to answer the National Security community’s most complex questions in operations research,
modeling and simulation, wargaming, and advanced research. Our unconventional culture is designed
to foster the creativity and free thinking of its employee-owners. The best and brightest often find
the traditional, corporate cubicle farm with its peaceful monotony stifling and uninspiring. In contrast,
the “Group W bench” is deep, with critical thinkers, analytic minds, and visionaries coming together to
challenge the status quo in pursuit of “The Right Answer.”
