Minimum Qualifications:

1. A Master’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field or a Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with a Master of Business Administration at the time employment begins.
2. A minimum of three years appropriate experience in the US construction industry. Significant construction research experience involving direct interaction/work with the construction industry may be considered as a substitute.
3. Evidence of excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

1. A Ph.D. degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Applicants with an ABD will be considered if they can finish the degree within 2 years of appointment).
2. A minimum of five years US construction experience.
3. Prior teaching experience at the university level.
4. Evidence of strong scholarship (e.g. publications, research grants, outreach, etc.).
5. Advanced education, certification, professional registration, licensure, or other relevant credentials.
