CORE COMPETENCIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Job Technical Skills – Provides engineering support including analysis, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of telecommunication systems, private networks and technical services. Also included is the material selection, bid evaluations, supervision of consulting services, preparation of feasibility studies, and creating/updating specifications for associated telecommunication and network equipment. Leads small to medium projects with minimal guidance. Acts as on-call Engineer as assigned outside normal working hours. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
Maintains the planning, design, analysis, construction, commissioning, integration, installation, operation, and optimization of telecommunication systems and private networks.
Implements engineering standards, standard materials, specifications, policies, procedures and guidelines for LES systems and applications.
Assists with new telecommunication schemes, network schemes and proposed system changes to determine their effect on existing systems
Assists with the fiber optic network, data & voice network, day-to-day operations, emergency routines, system additions, guidelines and training, and system procedures.
Maintains the wireless radio networks, towers, operations, regulatory compliance, system modifications, licensing, guidelines, training, and system procedures.
Assists with conducting network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
